  • Welcome to a clean, quiet, private and secure session environment for you to relax and receive. We review intake, goals and preferences. Each session is custom designed to meet your needs and preferences.
    • We confirm modalities, such as table work (customary), matwork, and/or yoga swing. Clients typically remain comfortably clothed.
  • Practice mindfulness and breath awareness to embody present moment experience.
    • Somatic bodywork is a client centered dialogue between your felt experience and mine.
    • Like a private yoga class, I invite you into your somatic experience with mindfulness and breath cueing throughout the session.
    • Sessions begin and end with a guided body scan.
    • Mindfulness allows you to track and stay connected to your experience.
    • As a massage therapist, it is my job to help your body shift from stress mode to relaxation mode. I do this by consciously regulating my nervous system so I feel calm and connected. Regulated in my own body, I shift awareness to you and your body, paying attention to your breathing, sounds, facial expressions, and body changes. Tracking your experience allows me to tailor the treatment accordingly. I interiorize my awareness to check in with myself, adjust my posture, relax my body, and slow my breathing before bringing attention back to you.
  • We check in verbally during the session to track your experience.
    • I ask you to describe a sensation and rate the level of intensity on a scale of zero to ten.
  • I apply manual mobility therapy techniques with positioning, compressions, and stretching.
  • Organic essential oils are often used to support relaxation.
  • Scalp massage is customary (no oil/lotion).
  • Soon, I will be incorporating face and neck massage with warm towels, light oil/lotion, as well as foot and lower leg massage with hot damp towels and organic oil/lotion for glide.
  • Self Care at Home: Sessions conclude with bodywork self care floor work massage on balls and foam rollers, yoga inspired natural movement, and mindfulness meditation to continue at home.

  • Choose Format
    • Table Massage: Clothed bodywork on a massage table is the customary session format. I work manually with body weight, mindfulness and breath to facilitate relaxation and mobility. Applied techniques using positioning, compressions, deep tissue pressure points, rocking, and range of motion stretches. No oil or lotion is needed.
    • Matwork: A memory foam pad is the foundation for clothed bodywork on the floor. The same manual mobility tablework techniques are applied with more weight, depth and range of motion.
    • Yoga Swing: For movers who want maximum mobility and creativity, the yoga swing is unparalleled. The weightlessness and inversions are relaxing and restorative.
  • Choose Focus
    • Scalp Massage: Tension relieving scalp and ear massage, no oil/lotion necessary. Combine with face and neck massage for the ultimate feel good look luminous results.
    • Mobility Self Care: Learn to use foam rollers, balls and straps along with postures and movement to maintain and improve pain free range of motion.
    • Coming Soon: Face and Neck Massage: Tension relieving, relaxing and stimulating massage with warm towels, lightweight organic oils and skin creams for glide, non-comedogenic naturally.
    • Coming Soon: Reflexology: Foot and lower leg therapeutic massage with hot towels, moisturizing organic oils and lotions for glide.
  • Onsite Visits: Inquire about sessions at your location. I bring a massage table/mat or use your own. Let me know if you are interested in chair massage for a small group event.
